The first step to housing is to complete an intake with an A Way Home for Tulsa provider to determine your eligibility for housing opportunities. Programs consist of diversion, permanent and temporary housing, and other supportive services offered by our partners. Individuals must meet the HUD definition of homelessness to be eligible for HUD-funded housing options through coordinated entry.
The Coordinated Entry System (CES) is a collaborative approach designed to coordinate program participant intake, assessments, prioritization, and, if eligible, referrals to housing in the most efficient way possible. It involves a standardized assessment, used by all partners of the Continuum of Care (CoC), to determine available housing and/or need of additional services. The assessment can be accessed through engagement with a homeless service provider of A Way Home for Tulsa CoC. It is important to note, neither housing nor services are guaranteed.
