A New Chapter: Housing Solutions Begins National Search for Executive Leadership

As we turn the page to a new chapter, we’re embarking on a nationwide search for a leader who shares the same passion and commitment as our Executive Director, Becky Gligo.

Since its inception in 2020, Becky Gligo has guided Housing Solutions with foresight and an unwavering dedication to Tulsa’s needs. Under her leadership, we’ve significantly increased our capacity to serve those experiencing homelessness.

Becky hasn’t just amplified our voice; she’s also enhanced our impact, boosting HUD funding and expanding our member organizations from 30 to 55. Becky is preparing to relocate out of state, leaving behind a legacy of growth and a robust framework for service delivery. This includes street outreach, criminal justice initiatives, and a landlord/tenant resource center. She’ll continue to lead until her successor is appointed, ensuring a seamless transition.

Recognizing the critical role this leadership position plays in the Tulsa community, the Housing Solutions Board of Directors is committed to finding the right person to advance our mission—a leader who understands that addressing homelessness necessitates collaboration.

We’re searching for a leader who can unite service providers and business partners under the strategic direction of A Way Home for Tulsa, building upon the evidence-based strategic plan and governance structure we’ve established.

Celebrating Our Progress

Over the past three years, Housing Solutions has achieved significant milestones:

Membership growth of A Way Home for Tulsa from 30 to 55 agencies
Implementation of a new strategic plan and governance restructure
Expansion from 3 initial staff to multiple client-facing divisions
Housing of over 2,600 households since March 2020
Lifesaving operations during severe winter storms
A substantial increase in federal funding, aiding our fight against homelessness
