Yearly Data – Measuring Success
The below visualizations compare data provided to the US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) as part of A Way Home for Tulsa’s (AWH4T’s) System Performance Measures report. The dashboards combine the datasets to illustrate whether improvements in the below measures are in step with goals found within AWH4T’s Strategic Plan.
These performance indicators include the number of people experiencing homelessness, the duration of time that homelessness is experienced, and the frequency of returns to homelessness. Using these performance indicators is how AWH4T ensures that the CoC stays in line with the goal of making homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring in Tulsa. The Coc saw improvement in the number of successful housing placements and the duration of homelessness experienced but saw declines in the number of AWH4T clients and departing clients who saw income increases. This income stagnancy combined with the increased utilization of AWH4T programs only emphasizes the demand for affordable housing.
